I\u2019m Jody. I\u2019m a wife, mother of 3, certified Results Coach and Senior Teacher with nearly 15 years in education.<\/span><\/p>

My own experiences as a mother, conversations with mum friends, and observations as a teacher have led me here to connect with you.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>

My story started 10 years ago when I became a mum for the second time. I cried. I was bitchy. I was overwhelmed with feelings of love but also of hatred and frankly just bloody over it. I felt like I was failing and wanted to run. I could feel grey clouds closing in and there were times I\u00a0 was worried that I was going to repeat generational experiences.<\/span><\/p>

I felt like I was failing. I did not feel in control.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>

There are moments in life that we can look back on and realise that they are monumental moments that direct our trajectory. Motherhood is one of those things. It is a time when this one event completely shifts the way you see yourself physically, socially, emotionally, and spiritually. It completely shifts your identity.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

No one tells you about it. It doesn\u2019t come with the instruction manual that we all wished popped out in the birthing suite either.<\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

What we thought we would feel and think is very different to what actually happened and our expectations of who we thought we would be after becoming mothers is very different to reality .\u00a0<\/span><\/p>

What flicked the switch for me was that I took personal responsibility and action to find a way out of the rut. I didn\u2019t compare myself anymore to what appeared to be the norm. I chose who I wanted to be, where I wanted to focus on for me and my family.\u00a0 <\/span><\/p>

I became more in control of my emotions and thoughts empowering myself daily to be the best version of myself I could be. I have more strength and confidence to get through the day. I truly believe I am worthy, I am enough and I am capable.<\/span><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t
